Created using acrylic paint on stretched box canvas and finished with a protective light gloss varnish, this piece is one of a pair created as an ode to the dinner table, and how this familiar setting shifts with time and atmosphere. Characteristically for me, it's rich in colour, texture, and layered intuitively from start to finish.
